S1
Really enjoyed the series, even though it went over the top, a few too many times.
Best TV show ever made.
20 years old ![]()
great thing is I canât remember the episodes now so itâs like watching a brand new show ![]()
Speaking of being late to the game Mrs MWS insisted I watch this with her. Through gritted teeth I obliged - Itâs excellent!
The creeping sense of dread in both seasons is excellent.
Finally completed Succession last night. All 4 series really enjoyable.
Indeed, the âoffkeynessâ of it all musically really had me looking round corners. The cinematography and acting is excellent the writing is exceptional. Just finished season 1 - There will be a binge of S2!
This is great fun.
Still on iPlayer for a few days.
Richard Dormer is effing superb as Terri Hooley. Excellent based on fact drama, rewatched it again only recently.
Also enjoyed the references to the hydra-gas suspension system which I spent 6 months of my life fixing for BMW as it was costing them a fortune in dealer warranty.
Incase you missed it last night, abc doing lexicon of love at 10.40pm tomorrow night.
Enjoying these live classic albums.
The Scottish Godfather ![]()
Biggest pile of shite you could ever watch. He was an evil wee prick who managed to convince the very, very, hard of thinking he was some sort of semi folk hero. He deserves zero respect, how the fck he got someone to make a film portraying him as a Glesga Gangster Braveheart I have no fckin idea. Iâm a big fan of Martin Compston but I struggle to understand why he took that part knowing he would portray such an arsehole in a positive light.
Itâs hardly the first film to glamourise some low-life gangster and it certainly wonât be the last.
I didnât watch it expecting a factual documentary on the Glasgow underworld, I hoped it might provide a modicum of entertainment which it did, albeit only just.
For every âbiopicâ gangster movie thereâs a victim or a family affected by their bullshit.
True, but Godfather ll is still fucking brilliant.
100%, Iâm not outraged, Itâs a given.
