Watched that a while back. It gets grisly and it gets wierd.
Carl Hiaasen is one of my favourite writers and bad monkey is a fantastic book.

It was slaughtered by the critics as a film but Striptease was a very funny book and I didn’t think it was really that bad as a film. I’ve seen far worse. Much of the humour in the book survived the transition.
Cracking soundtrack too.
Really enjoyed the first too episodes.
Just the right pace.
Will have to get the book.
I know I am late to the party and this is for teens, but this clicked with my inner Harry Potter and was good fun.
Wonder how many Wednesday lookalikes there were in the school playgrounds when this first aired?

We watched that together and all of us enjoyed it.
She’s in the new beetlejuice film, really looking forward to that, hoping that doesn’t suffer from the sequel curse but the trailers look quite good so far.
Michael Keaton was absolutely fantastic in the original role.

THIS. This is the kind of review the world needs. I like reading old 60’s music reviews - They were scathing, ruinous and forceful. The kind of thing that would make you reconsider your vocation. Conniption is the steel that whittles taste.
