I tried to watch this the first time around and failed, maybe I was in the wrong frame of mind?
Just watched the pilot and first few episodes again and it’s much better than I remember!
It’s a great concept but the screen play is classic US serial style with episodes that can be just nothing to do with the core plot and obvious filler.
The thing that killed it off for me was the constant acting mode of dreary look on the faces of the two leads and the odd tempo.
