Had a chuckle when the river police on their megaphone shouted to him. We like whose line is it anyway, but can you stop lobbing your furniture in the Thames

Had been putting this one off for a while that was s mistake, loved it. Cage has certainly found a genre he exceeds in, horror.

Anything by him recently has been really hit/miss (mainly miss) as he was doing any old shite and as many films as he could to pay his tax bills.

He’s done some fantastic films though.

I enjoyed this

Terrible film but I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Ooh, is that the one with the slightly fundie rapture element to it?

V weird.

Royal Opera. Offenbach’s Tales of Hoffmann transmission at Pontio Bangor. Thought it might be a bit overconceptual but music and singing sucked me in. Happy bunny.

I was supposed to go see that a few weeks ago at the ROH, but was ill so missed it :slightly_frowning_face:

I always enjoy this too :grinning:.

Dylan thing out tomorrow looks worth a trip out to the cinema

Digging for Britain.

Apparently niece #1 filmed the opening sequence and they just used her phone video, but the actual programme has no interest in the student forced labour

Conclave. Good film.

I thought it felt a little like a long-ish book compressed into the length of a film. But the acting was excellent and the camerawork really great.

I’ve just watched this

which wasn’t quite what I was expecting given that it was lent to me by a neighbour, who said it was really good.

I agree with your neighbour

I do too. But the bloody violence. And the degradation. She used to cut Claire’s hair in our kitchen. Now I’m not sure she’s to be trusted with sharp objects.

(Only joking, she and her husband have lived in the street longer than I have and I’ve been here 33 years.)

Plenty of time to dispose of lots of bodies :face_with_open_eyes_and_hand_over_mouth:
