What I'm watching (Series 2)

I went searching for the obvious accompaniment and found a film with a spectacular IMDB rating, way below Pete’s threshold.

Current theory, The Invasion

Miserable reviews. I’ll probably watch it tomorrow just to put the question out of it’s misery.

I enjoyed this. Lots of live footage that I’ve never seen before and the sound in the cinema was great.

And I never knew that Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones both played on ‘Goldfinger’ by Shirley Bassey. :slightly_smiling_face:

At a loose end, this was “free”. We’re 10 minutes into the exposition and they just used the words “the council of wizards”.

I’ll watch it until I feel like crashing out but, yeah.

fuck me this gets worse by the minute

Watched it when it first came out. Excellent :+1:

However it then disappeared and presumably Netflix have some sort of exclusivity deal.

I have been around Cov City fans too long, as my first thought was that they have taken distinct liberties with this story.

Adolescence.

Netflix.

The first episode is great, and I’m astounded that pretty much all of it is one take.
Hats off to everyone who pulled it off.

(Edit - apparently it’s one take. Some effort. The acting is off the scale).

Didn’t know the world needed a Groundhog Day/Starship Troopers crossover.

Is it better than Caitlin Moran’s black country childhood memoirs?

A pale imitation of that, obviously.
