Whiskey/whisky

Fair enough

I liked the sound of this right up to the point where I googled it and saw the SHIT ON IT £200 price tag.

See all that marketing that saw an explosion in Gin wankers… Now fully embedded in whiskey.

The local Boothe’s knocked 12 quid off the price, be rude not to

And we drove past 3 Booths today

Glenlivet 12 at 30 quid in Booths.

Off to the in-laws for a few days over Christmas. Mrs organised the accommodations, just checked, seems we’re next door to Glengoyne distillery  This trip is starting to look a whole lot more interesting

I’ve had one bottle of Glengoyne, the 12yr. Lovely stuff, and great value.

this little freebie sample impressed me…

and having finished off a few bottles of other stuff (I promised myself no more bottles until a few were finished) so this is on its way

I’ve got the Machrie Moor CS, and it’s lovely stuff. Tropical notes in something made off the West coast of Scotland!

Machrie Moor - nice; delicate smoke, pepper, hint of citrus, toasted coconut at the end…something lingering I can’t quite get…let stand a while and I’m getting a little hint of pineapple.

A present from my FiL for decorating his room - don’t normally drink whisky but will give it try.

Good to know Guy as I don’t have a clue about whisky.

Also my brother-in-law’s favourite.

Just having a dram of it at the moment - very nice it is too. :+1:
