I got a bottle of that as a present from a customer at Christmas, absolutely lovely stuff.
Son has bought us tickets to this event as our Christmas present. We’ve all been a good many times - highly recommended in the past but this one is much smaller than before.

Shame. I miss it by a day 
I remember tasting Caol Ila of some variety in a remote pub in Scotchland probs 30 ish years ago, and have since as an amateur whiskey taster craved that taste but never quite managed to find it. I always, assumed that Caol Ila was beyond my budget but have found recently that it seems to be available just about within an achievable budget. I’ve just ordered these in the hope that my memories of good times in the highlands will be re-lived!
