Reckon I’m going to get my dad a bottle of the Wee Beastie for Christmas.
this was one my dad introduced me to. Not sure if still the case, but at the time that and Auchtentoshan were his favourites outside the Islay ones.

That is good, the supermarkets and bargain booze normally have at least one cracking offer on malt, suppose it depends how much surplus the likes of Delagio want to offload.

I used to drink Cardhu with Jesus (not him, the other one) the bloke that ran my local bar when we used to visit Port Saplaya in Valencia regularly. Very nice drop indeed. Needless to say, I have not had any for years (or Cardhu either).

£25.50 in my local Sainsburys yesterday. I tried a drop last night and I think I might do the same again tonight - very drinkable !

I picked a bottle up the other day and had a couple, it’s very smooth. I need a clear head tomorrow and also not to stink of scotch when I go to hospital, so will hold off having any more till tomorrow evening.
