New additions today.
Couple of cask strength single malts. Somewhat of a departure for me in my more recent history, as I tend to concentrate more on Rye & Bourbon Whiskeys from the USA or Japanese & Irish offerings.

Arriving on Monday.
Just scanning for naked reflections.
Thanks for sharing the sight of the bottle after you drank half of it.
eh?
The last of a 3 bottle Christmas order.
This is my absolute favourite bourbon available at under £200 a bottle.
I had a blurred image previously, now a perfiect picture, sorry for the confusion.
(Neither me nor my laptop had any whisky today)
Iāve had the 15yr old Dalwhinnie a few times to great enjoyment Roger, so thatās an interestinā recco.
Three bottles of this arriving tomorrow.
On flash sale @ Masters of Malt.
Gets great reviews at full price of Ā£50. Quite unusual to find a ten year age statement Islay cask strength whiskey at this sorta pricing, most sub Ā£50, even tā likes of Corryvreckan/Uigeadail are none age statement. I like bold smoky/peated whisky, so have high hopes for this.
Bit cheaper with free shipping if order over £100.
Hi Paul. That offer is only for their ordinary release 10yr aged Islay & thatās pretty much tā regular pricing for it.
The offer I linked to is for the ten year age statement cask strength, which normally retails at around £50.
Youāre right, sorry. Thought Iād found a further saving š¤¦
If only that were tā case Iād have prolly got carried away & ordered 4 more.
Probably for the best then haha
Indeedy. I was planning on not purchasing any more until at least this time next month!
Iāve never really been into whisky but have enjoyed Laphroaig, especially the last bottle I recently had. Iām going to try more and Iām thinking Talisker but maybe this could be next.
If you enjoy Laphroig, it would seem you have some leaning towards peated/smoky Islay whisky. This would seem to be a reasonably safe bet, given the tasting notes/fairly positive reviews & currently very favourable pricing.
Iāve been very pleasantly surprised by tā Port Askaig none age statement cask strength Islay from an undisclosed distillery. I think I prefer it to Laphroig quarter cask.
