I’m starting to think the Farmer who clocked these lads knew exactly what they were up to, and maybe that they were after her diesel, and thus decided that they needed shitting up good and proper.

Police now stating they found petrol in the barrels.
At this rate the RAC, AA and Green Flag will become proscribed organisations what with their vans & spare fuel onboard.

One of the suspects arrested called the police an hour before the lady farmer did.
My little grey cells are beginning to hurt, wtf was going on, certainly beyond my pay grade and where do I get cheap diesel now.

The plot doth thicken.
The story keeps getting weirder. Not helped by not trusting any of the ‘information’ sources.
The fact that the incident - whatever the hell it was - highlighted a woeful lack of security around the base (and likely around all such sites) has certainly been quickly buried…

This and the four our five men said farmer claimed ran away and weren’t captured.

If this is true then the US have massively broken the rules, as I understood it US personnel can only police their base and they have no authority to operate beyond their gates.
There should be MOD plod alongside the US troops as they have absolutely zero power to stop or arrest UK citizens.
She also revealed that hours before her encounter, her neighbour had phoned her “in tears” after she had tried to drive home at about 20:00 BST on Saturday and was stopped by armed personnel.
The farmer said: "She was stopped outside the main gates of the airbase.
"It was armed American personnel. They were incredibly aggressive.
"She had her children in the car and they made them all put their hands out of the car, shouted at her to put her car in neutral.
No doubt thinking they can carry on like ICE operatives, while in the UK

I reckon there’ll be a few more arrests of British-Iranians a few leaks about Iranian involvement and then once the midterms it’ll all go quiet with no further action.

Just heard Andrew Neil on t’wireless …he was saying they bugged out in a hurry…and was without refueling flight planning .. 
So it appears the mightiest military in the world, newly endowed with the dripping warrior spirit of Hegseth and the embodiment of everything macho, is scared of some blokes nicking diesel.
