How efficient are the Heco’s?
I have a Art Audio Diavolo 300b upgraded with a Border Patrol PSU.

About 95 dB I think
I borrowed a pair from @murrayjohnson a few years ago and they worked v well with an SE 300B amp

The Diavolo is somewhere between 10W to 13W depending on which article you read and had no problem driving Audio Note E’s so may be an option.
Not too far from me if a Warm taxi / collection is needed.

Tempted, just unsure it would suit my Sonus Faber’s, looking at specs they are 4 ohm.
30w Class A may be enough though.
Would you try an integrated? Or are you wedded to a pre you already have? Something like a Marantz PM4 could be a sweet match.

Just spoke to the amp builder and he says the gain on the sapphire is about 70
Not really set on anything. More curious as to what’s out there. Plus I like having many boxes
I was going to buy this, but seems a bit of a waste as a dedicated headphone amp as I was going to use it, it’s a Pink Fish member selling, so should be a safe bet
