Is that the one on Linthorpe Road Micky? Used to be The Shakespeare?

Always wanted to try a pair of those.

The want is strong… :star_struck::heart_eyes::star_struck::heart_eyes:

Hi there,
My apologies for bringing this back up - but I am in trouble with a pair of these I purchased from Reverb recently.
Someone has restored them and it seems like before his work, a previous owner had tried to change them into a similar set up as PF91 (otherwise I have no idea what they were doing, lol)
The output transformers look butchered - but as I have no official reference - they may be correct. However, I am worried.
Would you have or know where to get detailed information about the correct configuration of the OPTs ? As you can see - not convincing :frowning:

OPT Rewire

Any help is greatly appreciated.
I’m in NSW - Blue Mountains.

Your amps seem to have the earlier grid stopper circuit.
This pair I have now also look like there could be a mistake there as well.
The previous pair I owned in 1985 had the more common modified circuit which has fewer components but still achieve the correct roll-off desired:

Any advice @TheMooN

Original circuit was like this:

Can anyone help me please ?? :frowning:

Used to turn up tannoys frequently, less so these days. Found a bunch of pics of various things that came & went and made a rubbish slide show.
