I listen to the news almost exclusively via radio, so I’ve only just seen Newsnight, to chew the day over again. My flabber is ghasted.
Severe nad pummelling to whichever set designer and production team that thought sliding studio background motifs to interviews was tolerable, let alone acceptable.

They might have a tacit policy, but they would be in breach of all sorts of IR and anti-discrimination legislation if they had ‘rules’ about sexual orientation.
