Yet another thread for the purposes of awarding a cockpunch

In no way is 30 weeks enough for this cunt. Fekk, he’ll be out after 15, not much for running over someone…

I see someone on their phone whilst driving at least once a mile. Its totally out of hand and Plod do absoultely nothing to stop it. If i can drive round spotting people with ease so can they. Makes me angry.

Plod don’t like getting out of their patrol cars and the cameras do their work for them. Soon the cameras will spot people using their phones and then all hell will break lose.

I could take plod to a spot 10 mins walk from here, blind corner, if stand the other side they be nabbing several an hour - regularly have near misses with these idiots, usually in Audis of course. The classic when the daughters were with me was rough bird (young) scream at us she was hands free, pointing with one hand to the other one holding her phone which was loudspeaker. My daughters gave her a right mouthful.

The issue is not lazy police it is lack of funding and massive reduction in the amount of officers.

Indeed , reduction of 21000 isnt it. ? Needs to be reversed soon . They do an extremely hard job .not too long ago i found a girl unconscious in a river on a frosty day . A number of police cars arrived in minutes and thankfully she was alive. The strange thing is people were walking past her all the time but not one noticed her

Liam Neeson deserves everything he’s going to get for this. Utter prick.

I think that he should be congratulated for owning up to the fact that grief caused him to lose control, and brought out some really dark thoughts. We can’t always control how we feel, we can only control our actions - and sometimes that is really hard.

He didn’t strike me as proud of his thoughts then, he’s deeply embarrassed, even shocked.

People who are openly racist aren’t monsters, they are people like everyone else; they are just people who have failed to rein in their inner dark thoughts, instead they have been allowed to fester and grow, and turn into words and actions.

Neeson has presumably overcome these. Credit to him, both for doing that and for highlighting that anyone can get into a dark place.

That’s true and I take your point. Nonetheless, when faced with terrible situations, most intelligent people do not go out, armed, in the hope of finding conflict with a view to committing the racist murder of an innocent.

Most people who have reasonable control of their emotions do not. I don’t think that intelligence matters either way.

The point is that you can lose control. He did. Many do. People need support, not condemnation.

That’s absolutely true. I was really taken aback when I read it. But he’s not denying it’s fucked up, and he must be aware of the kind of shit-storm something like that is likely to cause, so I’m quite impressed by his honesty/nerve, in choosing to mention it to make a point. He’s owning something utterly fucked up that he did a long time ago. Doesn’t make it any less fucked up, but fair play for owning it, publicly,

Maybe I’m odd then. I’ve never felt like stabbing someone, ever.

I really don’t understand why he owned up to this, I don’t see it doing any good.
