Yet another thread for the purposes of awarding a cockpunch

And for God’s sake don’t let them whip out the gall bladder. There can be repercussions to this and there are other ways to deal with the issue depending on the type of stones.

Its stones in the gallbladder, consultant happy to remove it, its just the waiting.
2 week ‘red list’ so we shall see?

oops, we’ve read not removing increases risk of cancer and high risk of reoccurring stones?

Again, it depends on the type of stones. Removal of the bladder can lead to other dietary problems. Just think what the gall bladder does about regulating and dealing with fat

NSV - another govt IT project that has been an unmitigated clusterfuck.

75% way through completing my questionnaire and the fucking website crashes and has been down for hours.

Liechtenstein, for being the worlds biggest producer of false teeth, instead of Luxembourg.

That little nugget just cost me and Claire the pub quiz.

Fucking tax dodging teeth making cunts.

So sorry to hear this , do they still do that thing where they ultrasonically break them up or perhaps I am dreaming ?

Lithotripsy I think they call it

My partner had her gallbladder removed about 15 years ago

She was in real pain til then

Don’t think they zap the stones in the gall bladder. I may be wrong but I thought it was only for kidney stones.

There are circumstances where this is the only option and people can manage perfectly well afterwards. Again, it all depends on the type of stones and where they are located in the bladder and bile duct.
All I’m saying is to think carefully about whether the surgery is necessary or not. In America it is one of the most common surgeries performed because it is relatively simple to do (keyhole surgery) and because it makes surgeons a lot of money.

Whoever decided that the first day of the second Test Match would be a good time to have a ‘scheduled’ power cut for maintenance can have one.

No electric = no internet & no mobile signal

Ah well, TMS on the radio will have to do.

TMS always does for me on the wireless due to lack of Sky

You can always just turn it off when Boycott comes on.

I haven’t got Sky.
But a mate has given me a log in as one of his ‘devices’ and I get sky sport on my laptop.

I was looking forward to watching the cricket while listening to TMS.
Unfortunately the feed to the laptop is about 3 seconds behind the radio which makes it impossible.

nearly a minute for me last time I tried

When Archer is bowling 3 seconds may as well be a minute!

With me it was the world cup final free on Sky. Listening to TMS on the wireless there was a minute delay on the sky broadcast.

Not really a problem since tomorrow is the first day of the third test match!
