Shock horror all appeals/protests have been rejected.
I expected Masi to get a disciplinary/warning from the FIA and the result to stand though as it was clear he only partially applied the rule.

All complaints rejected due to regulation 10.4.6.2.9.8.00.5. The race director can make up/change the rules/pick the winner as he sees fit.

Still, at least I now know exactly how knowledgeable, objective and unemotional Terry is about F1, that feels like the real season finale for me

I think I’ll give F1 a miss next year. Why have a set of rules if they can be ignored at the whim of the Race Director. It then ceases to be a sport and is just entertainment.

What a disgrace complete and utter disregard for the rule book in order to make a spectacle for TV.
The race director must have known that what he was doing handed the race to Max. That wasn’t racing it was fix.

I don’t buy the whole excuse of settling it on the track. If there wasn’t a restart it would have been settled on the track in the first 54 laps rather than the last 1.
