You’ve bought four watches when you can only wear one.
Good point. He should maybe sell one…
To me
There are 50+ channels but you only watch one at a time.
S
And I only bought 3 watches
How long do you spend looking at your watch compared to how long you spend watching TV?
Have you been drinking?
WTF are you witter ing on about?
What I’m saying is that you spend shitloads of dosh on watches but then talk about skinflinting it when buying a TV.
Get yerself an OLED, then bask in the pride of knowing you did the right thing
I am not skinflinting
I am asking a genuine question because it seems that motion rendition on OLED is not as good as HD LED.
It is not simply a matter that OLED is better than LED
If you watch a lot of films then it is a no brainer but I don’t.
That would have been my call Gregg by LG don’t support UK catch up TV so they are off the list
I hate posting on phones
At least you are not Brianer.
LG supply all the oled panels, or you could add a Roku or similar stick which will do all the catch-up services, or stream from your phone if it’s a rare thing
Yes but they don’t supply the software.
I already have a Now TV stick on my current TV.
It is not just the £400 a year subscription (although I would rather put that toward a better TV in the first place, it is also another mains socket required for the stick
Thanks Gregg
I will have a look through that, lot of info there
That Philips posted earlier may be a good shout. The processing is supposedly very good but the apps less so.
In case you decide to go for a stick , most get power off a usb feed from the tv and the Roku sticks don’t need a subscription. The nowtv kit tends to be hobbled Roku kit anyway.
Are you going to be recording anything?
You can probably get all the services through the recorder/set top box/dvd player.
No I don’t record anything.
I have a DVD recorder here that I haven’t used since Catch Up services got going and is not coming with me, and a blu ray player that is going to the charity shop.
I just use catch up TV and stream the occasional film.
I watch a few music docs and stuff through You Tube
