Good title, interesting choice of substrate. Who is the artist?
The other end.
First shot’s a belter
OK, so you have done New York and London, when can we expect photos from Paris and Munich?
I hesitate to put this here, as it lacks all photographic merit, but this afternoon’s dogwalk took me out on to Burtey Fen - which is thousands of acres of S. Lincs most typical Grade-A farmland, reached by a track which is equally typical - starting as a narrow tar side road, dwindling to gravel, then mud, then grass, then nothing, just fields and ditches. Most roads around here are roads to nowhere; very Lincolnshire.
If you wish to take your life in your hands, then The Wash, and that only, gets you further away from noisy roads and racketing populace. Here is skylarks (quiet just now), hares, deer, geese skeins, hovering kestrels, big mixed flocks of rooks and jackdaws, and b-i-g skies, which were doing the nacreous thing at dusk.
Peaceful.
