It was all very clever. He refused to engage in criticizing the Govt on reneging on the WA and breaking international law. I was surprised at this but he simply kept insisting on ‘Get Brexit Done’ and refusing to put himself in the firing line. I suppose he would be accused of siding with Brussels otherwise so it is very clever if somewhat cynical politics.
