I leave mine to brew for about 3-4 mins then a slow press.
I find it makes a great strong cup of coffee. I do also have the Fellow Prisma attachment which comes with a metal filter.
I find it better with medium to dark roasts than light roasts but that’s my taste in general.
Been using one for 7-8 years now. I really like it, and the value proposition is fantastic imho. I tend to do the brewing upside down, so it can be as long as I like, and then just flip it to plunge.
Also, if you travel a lot, it makes for a very portable coffee setup.

I just prefer a V60 for the clarity. I now use a Switch, which allows a combination of percolation and immersion. Both are straight into the dishwasher afterwards, no hassle cleanup.
