Dicking about with crap old cars

I was going to change the colour but several club members said it was a well known car back in the day which had me thinking. I will repaint next year but probably in metallic and a different shade of purple or whatever it is. The front end was replaced by a previous owner and the paint job never matched the rest of the car so it does need doing. It’s the one thing that really bugs me :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

The first of two LiFePo4s for the zombie apocalypse micro battle bus have arrived. Light weight, compact and nearly 100% more usable energy than the equivalent lead acid AGM. Although i will have a mains hook up, i shouldn’t really need it.

Welcome to AA. You’ll fit right in here. :grinning:

When I went to Kent to collect it I remember seeing how small it was and think oh fu—

My brother’s, and my first car.
Used to spend ages tinkering. And racing. And doing hand brake turns on fields…

Fantastic, loved our Minis!

Got bored and thought I’d better put the leccy supply mind map onto paper.

Someone remembers their TD drawing lessons, very few crossovers (Althogh no jumpers - though I expect they went out of fashion at the same time as ‘wet’ printers) and drawn with a pencil rather than an app!
Bravo :grinning:

Visio - inserts the line jumps for you :+1:

Modern practice for schematics is not to have jumpers. Connections ane explicitly indicated by a dot.

Visio is dogshit.

Careful, that is half of your job description right there!

Don’t use Visio!

Sold your soul to archimate now?

Visio is a fantastic tool, I haven’t found anything that comes close for doing network designs. I don’t do designs anymore, I just pick holes in other people’s now :joy:

draw.io these days (I don’t do network diagrams) and I like Lucidchart as well.

Think the Astra might be not worth trying to get through the mot in 2 weeks,so will need to try and get hold of another car sometime soon
Are Ford fusion any good?

And the old one has gone…

That doesn’t look too safe

It’s sound, that flat bed was dragged on the back of that waggon at 45 degrees, the ole moby didn’t move.
