Just taking the delinquent out for a couple of hours. Should be getting dark on the way home, so any mischief he gets up to hopefully he won’t be recognised as the culprit. Still loves children, but is that exuberant tends to use them as skittles and then licks 'em mercilessly. Just got to keep him away from the rock pool in the quarry. :angry:

Lol.

He’s just having a good time :grinning:

It’s the selective deafness that pisses me off and the oohs and aaghs and sniggers of passers by. We were down in the woods when he decided to leg it 200 metres to the pool, flicking weed and rolling in it and looking so bloody proud of himself.

Is this the minging duck pool on the edge of the Pinewoods you’re on about?

Nay, 'tis a little cleaner but just as smelly at Pex Hill ( Cronton ), the minging pool is at Pickerings Pasture, both to be avoided at all costs.
Crosby beach from now on, sand isn’t as bad as the smell of the pools of effluence.

Pex Hill? Seriously? You live near there? Wow!

Fucking hell, I grew up in Widnes.

I’m going over to my mum’s next Thursday to do her shopping, if you’re around do you fancy a pint? The Unicorn or The Black Horse?

It’s sort of relative to be honest Graeme.

The Unicorn would be great, the Black Horse has changed hands, I think it’s called something fancy now.
Let me know what time and I’ll wear my mankini, wouldn’t want you to approach anyone strange by mistake.:smile:

Mmm, The Unicorn used to be decent for food iirc? Maybe a bite of lunch? If I can get away from the Mothership in time (this is subject to her not finding a job for me to do, like building a shed or re-plumbing her kitchen… );

I used to drink in the Black Horse a lot, with Andy Gregory, when he managed Widnes. My BiLs brother was the chef there at the time and he used to send bowls of chips and stuff out to me so I could keep up with him.

Just googled. The Dandelion Tavern. WTF?

Is Cronton Chippy still good? It used to win best chippy in Merseyside and stuff like that quite regularly.
