I’ve got these, the carbon anti static are pretty much all the same but have found the spincare stuff to be cheap and fairly well made (like the cheap bit as I keep losing the bloody things)

They are nice things. Nagra did a Ltd edition which is spendy. Oma have a built in holder in their TT for them.
Compromise is a degrading
The problem with most brushes and pads specifically made for cleaning records is that they don’t - they just move the dust into a line.
That’s why I use dust magnet style cleaning cloths, which attract the dust and completely remove it from the surface of the record. Super cheap too and can also be used to dust off all of your hifi kit.
They used to do plain ones, but now it seems they only do citrus. Lemony lps anyone?

I’m a bit demoralised reading this. I had thought that my £150, goat beard Thunderlon brush was peak silliness and instead I find I might as well have bought it* in Primark.
*I didn’t buy it obviously. It just lives here.

Rationality really seems to rob life of verve. Where is the thirst for quality, beauty or art? Where is the recklessness where is the passion? Uncommon sense, being silly even - saying yes for the fuck of it. Immature I grant you but but what is the alternative? Impotent beige driven by 31 flavors of fear? Sure ships are safest in port but that is not what they are built for.
