I use a pair on my work desk set up. Near field they are satisfying. Using them in room…Not so much.
I’ve heard a few pairs in different settings, but they don’t really suit the stuff I like to listen to at the volumes I like to listen at.
They’re just one of those things that I don’t get the fetishisation of, they’re fine for what they were designed for, but for everything else…

Precisely this. I sit at the computer and listen near field (Less than 1M) They make a decent fist of Pornhub.

Wonder if the BBC/Rogers ever thought in their wildest dreams that the speaker they spent countless hours to try and emulate the human voice, would end up being used with British milf amateurs being banged over a sofa.

I despair that this shit exists. I despair there are people who buy it. I really despair that people daft enough to buy it can afford it.
