Itās really a blower. Iāve just been out on it again to clear the overnight ābonusā before going to work 
tl;dr - The spiral auger inside the box on the front turns relatively slowly to move the snow into the middle and feed into the fast-spinning impeller that fires it out via the chute (chimney type thing on top). Thereās a worm drive that you can use to āsteerā the chute. I think Mrs H took some video yesterday - iāll see if I can post a snippet later.

Some snow showers forecast for tomorrow but not too heavy, maybe an inch or two.
My rearranged vet visit is due on Thursday so Iām hoping it will be clear by then.

Looks like the tropical heat around Runcorn has ruined my tobogganing aspirations, or any off piste activity on Frodsham hill. Looks like drizzle only.

Had to cancel, again.
The roads are not all that bad hereā¦
but a friend on Yell reckoned that their roads are worse and I would never get between ferry terminals (17 miles) in the half hour window between ferries.

Weāve been in and out of the shite all day due to Narelle feeling unwell and wishing to find a quick cure so as not to disrupt my Birthday celebrations tomorrow.
A couple of pharmacies, plus a visit to the āOn Duty Doctorā at a (not so local) clinic, plus some shopping, meant weāve only been properly home for the last hour.
Every time we have ventured forth, it pissed down. Properly sick of being* wet 
*Incontinence is not yet an issue.
