Gigs I'm going to. The Gyroscope diaries

Awesome facts about the Gittar :ok_hand:

What an amazing performance from The Blackbirds tonight and I shed a few tears when they started with Donald Byrds’ Change (Makes You Want To Hustle), Dominos and Places And Spaces.

Went to see Fnk last night at Band on the Wall in Manchester. What an amazing venue and Fink were fantastic. Superb live. I recommend it to any of you that like their music. Won’t be last time I go to see them live.

Shame I missed Fink this tour, would have gone but there were only 4 UK dates played and the London one clashed with a weekend away and the Mav show!
He is off to Europe and North America for the rest of the tour so not sure when I will get to see him.

Currently at the jazz café for Scientist.

I have no idea who is doing the warm up, but I’ve never seen it this busy, and never heard the sounnnnsystem getting thrown around the room like this :grinning:

Scientist should be :ok_hand:

Envy envy.

Haha, my dispute at work at the moment is all about not going to Camden! :grinning:

Hope it was a great night!

I didn’t really understand what I was looking at (other than “very loud dub and reggae”) but it was great fun.

I seem to be going there more and more. The Jazz Café puts on some good stuff, and there is a nexus of metal-friendly pubs (The Black Heart, The Dev, Underworld) that forms the spine of Desertfest amongst other things.

Thank you but it’s utter chaos until Christmas and I absolutely must not book anything else.

I’ve already had to do the “nope, nope, mustn’t do it” thing and it’s not much fun.

Rock orchestra by candlelight has been sprung on me tonight. Hastily filling the hip flask and dialing in a smile. Not sure whether to take a bottle of poppers
