I hope the claim that he isn’t on a ventilator yet is true. The unconditional probability of survival given the UK data once on a ventilator is very close to 50%. Leaving aside politics, Raab and personal views, it will be a huge blow for the country. It will also be a tragedy for his friends and family.
A proper leadership vacuum is not what we need now.
