Hopefully. I would imagine they would have taken the precaution of moving him early, due to his role, just in case of further deterioration. Frightening stuff though. Hopefully, if one positive comes out of this, it will be that those who don’t get the idea of distancing, wake up.

I know him very well so I am deeply saddened really that it should come to this. He has obviously worked like mad to try and get through this but it’s not good enough so far.
It doesn’t mean necessarily that he isn’t going to pull through this because they may have put him on intensive care because they can treat him and he may have a secondary infection, a serious chest infection and that will stabilise him, they can get after it, and get him through this and out the other side quicker in a more stable way.
The second paragraph reads rather grimly.

Was he so bad that he had to go to the closest. Used to be my local, It wouldn’t be where I’d guess the PM would be sent. Are the more prestigious hospitals that full. UCL?
I assume they would feel as upset as the family’s of those OAPs Cummings was supposed to be willing to sacrifice as collateral damage in the chase for herd immunity. Nevertheless, let’s hope he isn’t too ill.
