How do you feel? (Part 1)

Voluntary is a very rewarding thing to do if you have time .

Yes, it really is.

Yes, I did it for a short while years ago
Sadly the little charity shop over the road has just shut

Will probably consist of not much more than going to visit someone for a chat once this counting virus moves on, but I know how important that can be

Hope you’re not affected

So do I
All the shop workers are safe
There is a vacancy in my team and the salary is in the budget so that will be one of the jobs to go.
A recruitment ban will account for a number of those jobs I know a couple of people who would take voluntary redundancy if it was on the table
It was only announced Thursday and they will have to go through all the consultancy routes.

Fingers crossed :crossed_fingers: for you.

Hope you’re ok, Kev.

Good luck mate.

All the best Kev

We do voluntary work when we can. Jan works in the Cuan Wildlife charity shop on Saturdays and we both spend a day sorting out donations for sale or bin. I do voluntary driving collecting and releasing animals and also running folk to hospital, shops etc. Very rewarding.

Just sitting and talking to lonely people makes so much difference to their lives.

Hope it all works out well for you Kev.

Straya surprises me sometimes, but this is how Track & Trace should work…

Ah shit, just been through it myself, so best of luck.

We have Covid tests to do tomorrow. Gonna be unpleasant, I think.

Out of interest, why? Have you been tracked & traced as having been near someone or somewhere it’s been detected?

Yeah, I’ve got one to look forward to too in advance of my nose job. Not looking forward to it.

Claire fills in some apparently official app, and has been selected. We’re not sure if it’s random or because of a slight worsening of her hay fever after we went for a long walk through a meadow!

Suddenly felt unwell late this afternoon- coughing and sore throat. Supposed to be going to FoLs birthday party the weekend so booked and had test at Worcs Rugby Club within an hour - results within 2 days.

Test was self administered - good job I’ve had it done several times recently during my recent time in hospital as I don’t think I’d have pushed the swabs in that far :open_mouth:

Hope you’re OK Wayne.
