In the predicting mood. Full lockdown like last time to be announced this week to last until a week before Christmas. Just on the basis that the NHS is massively fucked.
West Central Scotland into full lockdown from 6pm Friday until 11 Dec but I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s extended.
I think the wife is basically planning a kamikaze mission. The moment she can, head over to her mother’s in NI and self-strand herself.
Makes a lot of sense to me, it’s just a question of whether I go along too. Christmas is a pot noodle if I don’t.

Child 2 was sent home from school on Wednesday with a cough, he has allergies like me, we havnt stopped coughing and sneezing for weeks. Wife, and both kids had a test, negative. What a faff.

This is quite an interesting read - basically it says that the effects of Covid are due to blood clots reducing oxygenation to the organs rather than a pneumonia.
Anybody else read anything similar ?

Not an expert but I’m not sure how blood clots would cause your oxygen saturation to drop low?
I would also have thought that blood clots could result in increased strokes, is this being seen in COVID patients?
