Multi Entry Synergy Horns being pretty much being a Danley invention (patents and all) deserve that other Danley thing the Tapped Horn(s) to complete them.
Will be amazing when @dom gets those huge 21" bass bins though.
Wanna listen!

I’ve lost track on your plans, are you going trad MEH or cat bum?
Nice, would love some pictures once you collect the printed horns, I priced commercial printing for a large horn and they wanted 700 a pop
Only that bit is 3D printed the rest is ply, so not very big. Mate did it and I just paid for the fillament so not too bad
Noice - would love to hear that set up
The 3D printed bits arrived. I went for PETG 90% infill which is overkill.
They need cleaning up and smoothing, will likely just wet sand them as acetone doesn’t work on PETG and the chemicals needed for it to work just means I can’t be arsed to be honest.
Still not decided on colour to paint them and the rest of the horn area. But will likely just stain/wax the outside of the ply to make it a smidge darker than natural.
It isn’t easy to capture the shape of the flare being all black and shiny but hopefully it gives you an idea of the complex shape.
Looks good - I have just loaded the stl file for that throat adaptor onto my 3d slicer - 2 days 18 hours printing time - Each. I should have bought a Bambu labs P1s on Black Friday Just checked the printing time 1 day- But delivery is now delayed till 30th of Dec Bah.
Ouch, yeah the person who printed them for me totally regretted it too as it took a while to do ![]()
My new P1S is about 6x faster on its standard settings, and has speedy modes on top of that!
I’m probably going to wait till after Christmas to buy a P1s now - Meanwhile I have
a local guy quoting me for cncing an MDF version i modeled from the 330 horn that you sent me. Also looking at him making me a pair of JMod 2.0 cabinets
Yay, the more MEH the better🙂
I think that the price reduction they have now will be permanent while stocks last.
Why are you considering wood? It’s heavy and expensive (loads of waste when CNCing a horn). 3D printing would seem to be the ideal fuck about medium.
Would be interested in the quoted price when you get it. I am just tweaking the file at the moment as I will use different connectors, have no handles and have adjusted the bracing a bit for mine. Will be contacting a local place to me after that for a price
Smaller than mine!
I understand that 3d printing has less waste but given that I have very large compression drivers plus a local cnc woodworker seems keen to do something outside of kitchen cabinets and breadboards.
DOM - Yes I will let you know when he quotes - I have mentioned the potential of two builds to him - I don’t want handles either - Currently I’m working on it in On shape
Are you sure? Some of my better DIY hifi decisions have been around making things easier to move. And if you’re using thick ply, they’ll be bloody heavy!
Btw I know @dom was joking about 3d printing the boxes, and to me it’s obvious that ply is the right material when you’re doing a well sorted design. There might be a case for 3d printing the openings into the horn, at most, as that might be something to fuck about with. 3d printing is great for experimentation, but bloody stupid for a big box that you’re sure about the dimensions!
