....more armchair politics (Part 2)

What a cunt. I don’t remember the story when he was an acting MP but sending more than 2,000 texts of a sexual nature to 2 female constituents. FFS how do these people get fucking elected?

Honestly believe only power tripping narcissists would apply for a Tory job in the first place these days.

They must have nothing but contempt in their ‘hearts’ as an emotional baseline I should imagine?

Two year old story, but I doubt he is any less a cunt now than he was then although he hasn’t been an MP for 5 years

Looks like Piers £1k bet is fairly safe

Fuck me, Labour imploding in two byelections. Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

You act like you’re surprised

Gaza cast a huge shadow

Tories will be shitting themselves that they might accidentally win the next election

Sam and I hosted a meeting of the local Labour group a few days ago. It was a really positive, useful meeting. We stayed focused and worked our way through all of the current headline matters affecting the UK, prioritised them, agreed on outline plans of action. We all came away buzzing.

Not a single thing we identified fully aligned with the PLP - and especially not a single policy we outlined - coincided with anything the Parliamentary party is engaging with. None.

Not a surprise surely.

Political parties are now grievance grinding machines.

Headline matters and coherent philosophy and policy no longer interest them. End of story.

The way the fucking idiotic, clueless Labour party are going they will and Labour would 100% deserve it.

Trying to sort this fucked-up cuntry is the ultimate poisoned chalice, so you have to wonder if an element of this is deliberate (alongside the baseline incompetence and populism-chasing).

Agreed and that, is in fact, the most worrying facet of all this shite.

I see that one of the reasons given for our recent recession is that people reduced their spending. If we had the money to spend, perhaps things would be different.

More brexit benefits and the swinging of the blunt tool that is interest rate hikes.

An interesting watch, this.

Not a bad night for Labour.

Expecting the Tories to start chasing Reform voters in the run up to the GE.
