The thing is they need us and we need them but not in the weird coercive way David Davis and David Frost always framed the relationship.
I don’t think there well be much push back from the EU at all given what’s been going on in France, Poland etc. and with Orban stinking the gaff out.

Europe needs to put the far Right back in its box, and to do that you have to put Putin back in his box - Russia is instrumental in spreading dissent and division to its own benefit. Fortunately, Labour’s already pledged support for Ukraine, hopefully a clarification and firming of sanctions plus moves to seize Russian assets will follow.
At least France is pulling its head out of its arse…

Russia spreads misinformation equally to both sides to widen the political divide. It works.
Look at the state of western democracies , the hatred and simplification of issues is tearng us apart.
Ps, nothing new here. Similar happened across Europe following the invention of the print press. Religeous intolerance, racial hatred, wars, civil wars etc. On the plus side the sharing of knowledge led to the Renaisance, scientific advancement and widespread social change. etc. There is hope for the internet yet.

The green party used to be the dumping ground or party of last resort for the most extreme left wing elements of the Labour party. In the 80s/90s it was a joke that there are more communists in the green party than environmentalists.
Using PFM as a little microcosm of the far left they are pretty much all now voting green as the Labour party has become a right wing, authoritarian party of fascists.
Hopefully the green party will expand enough to dump the marxists and PFM type loons.
When Caroline Lucas first became an MP there was night of leftie folk music in Shoreham hosted by Atilla the Stockbroker
The marvellous Leon Rosselson (writer of the Diggers song and now 90) was one of the players.
Anyhow in the foyer were trays of watermelon, and everyone enjoyed a slice.
Atilla the Stockbroker said that he hoped everyone enjoyed the watermelon slices and they were provided to celebrate Caroline Lucas and the Green party.

Better dress sense would do for a start. Rocking the just woken up under a hedge look is so 2019.
To be fair, Cummings was rumoured to have had eyesight issues. Maybe those accounted for his dishevelled appearance ? Johnson probably never learned to dress himself and made the mistake, unlike JRM, of losing contact with his nanny as well.
