Farage isnât allowed to speak unless called by the speaker.
If he doesnât do as heâs told the speaker will remove him from the house.

Do not take this to be an endorsement of Reform⌠but the Byline article (like most Byline articles in fairness) is bollocks. The candidate they really doubled down on as AI does actually exist⌠heâs just a bit keen on adding hair and shedding a few tons with photo imaging;
âPaperâ candidates- who do exist but are literally placeholders- are as old as the hills. I voted for a Lib Dem one in 2019 because I couldnât vote for either Steptoe or the Oaf. Every time a âpublicationâ (I use the word loosely with Byline) does a shit, ill researched bollocksfest on Reform, itâll make it harder to land genuine hits.

While this is true, the fact that the mainstream media relentlessly supply otherwise inconsequential Farage ego-vehicles like Reform with the oxygen of publicity is a far bigger probem. It shouldnât be necessary to land blows when they should be languishing with all the other one-trick ponies in the unexamined grey zone at the bottom the charts.

All the small party/single candidates need scrutiny though. This election was the most fragmented weâve had and I think itâs going to be important to demonstrate to people that Reform (and on the other side of the coin, candidates who seem rather more engaged with Gaza than they do their own constituency) are unlikely to be effective representatives. I donât think stuff like the Byline piece helps this at all.
As I say, not disagreeing with that point, but Iâm a great believer in the old cliche about publicity where political parties are concerned. As Trump has demonstarted, even an endless conveyor belt of the worst possible publicity has only advanced his cause. The same seems true of Farage.
