It will have an audience, adverts will be sold and he will be paid. Minds will not be changed. That’s a success for the production company.

Correct - The shit pump pumps shit but will the Mogg be viewed as a completely deluded joke or a champion???. When Farage did I’m a celebrity he was very cunning in how he came across - The Mogg however is not a ‘people person’ he is objectionable on sight and sound - He does not give ‘good visuals’ so lets hope he digs a nice hole for himself here.

The issue for me is that some people thing JRM is an eccentric toff. He will get an audience and people may well succomb to his views presented in a posh voice. There is a school of thought which suggests Johnsonbecame palatable after his regular appearances on HGNFY. The same could well happen to JRM and he will know that.
Johnson and Farage have very different personalities to JRM
I guarantee you they will do the humanise-redemption arc.

While this doesn’t delight me, if it means his future is Portilloesque and he settles into a cycle of low impact TV shows and periodic punditry, I’ll take that over him staying anywhere near politics.

a) It’s none of his business what the Amercians decide to do with their legislature
b) He can’t do anything about it.
c) Imagine if he’d said the sitting president was too old
