Anything you two would like to share with us ?

Possibly, but you’ll only end up with a nasty rash and needing a prescription for strong antibiotics. :mask:

Louise says our mattress is beyond old - it is a vi-spring and worn out.

Anyone got one of these new fangled hybrids? Premium Hybrid Mattress - 28cm Spring & Foam – evesleep-uk is the Emma still the one to get? How hot is the Emma?

I have an Emma.
It’s great. But you will sleep hot.
I’m told it is less the ventilation, more that you hardly move (comfy) so the heat builds.
There’s the excellent return promise with all of them.

I think they sacked off the recommendation bonus, if not let me know?

oh dear that isnt what i wanted to hear

We’ll be replacing our mattress soon. No matter what they say, anything with memory foam whether full or hybrid will mean your sleeping temp will be higher.

We’ll be going for a traditional mattress and then use a gel topper in the summer to cool down and a different topper in the winter to warm up.

You absolutely positively do not want a foam mattress then.

Get one that’s slightly longer than you. :+1:

We bought a Harrison Spinks last year and have been very happy with it. Bolstered by watching the The Factory documentary which shows how they are made. Super comfy and doesn’t get too warm.

interesting, they at least they have showroom where we can see/feel them

saw the documentary - i find their range utterly confusing, and they appear to have that farmer off of the TV designing their beds…so they can fuck off.

We were looking for a new mattress and went to Dreams. We specifically wanted one to keep Jan cool and they recommended the Tempur range. Tempur Mattresses - Free Delivery | Dreams

Now on hold while give the vet the higher priority.

I’d check Which first. Tempur have a poor rep for reliability, and they are pricey.

That’s a very decent price for Uk handmade.

that it is

we went and checked out quite a few, including v costly stuff at JL, and decided it was the most comfortable we found, apart from something at 3x the price

so far, so good
