R.I.P. Nichelle Nichols
Nooooooooooo
Oh no!
Sad to hear about the death of Nichelle Nichols A.K.A. Lt Uhura of Star Trek.
She was a trail blazer back in the day. As a child, I very much enjoyed her acting in Star Trek.
The episode where she kissed Captain Kirk was big news at the time. It was even banned in some states of the USA.
Thanks for knocking down some of those boundries.
R.I.P. Michelle (Lt Uhura)

Ayman al-Zawahri

Utterly bizarre.
It’s all about the collateral these days.
Would be easy if it wasn’t a problem, but it’s not the Carte Blanche of the Bush era.
It’s a stones throw from the embassy. They have had chance to get this right down to the millimetre and taken time to make sure.
If you can trust the official version of how… maybe it was all lasers and mirrors.
