Times have changed since I left Straya. They did’t allow women or the internet in Ballarat as both would interfere with the footy and/or frighten the sheep.
Sheep in Ballarat = Wives and mistresses mate. Wives. And. Mistresses.
Yep. Obligatory for a piss stop driving to/from Melbourne otherwise: Avoid.
Congratulations
Yes, I think so. Not.
Congrats to you and Jan
Lovely news Mick, all the best and congratulations to you all.
Thanks for the kind words guys. Here is Clara being introduced to her baby sister Audrey for the first time.
So Special, enjoy the moment
The look on her face is priceless…
Congrats, enjoy these moments, time goes much too fast when children grow up!
Year 1-5 of course I’ll babysit, it’ll be fantastic
Year 6> Move to the middle of nowhere.
What a fabulous pic / memory
Eldest grandson Alfie got his A level results today …4 A stars in Maths,Chemistry,Biology and further Maths ,so come September he’s off to Medical school for 7 years studying to be a Doctor…hope I am around at the end to see his fruits paying off
2 out of 4 Grandsons Alfie on the right
Those are brilliant results. Many congratulations to the lad.
Well done to all the kids and there results.
Daughter moved into new house with boyfriend over weekend.
Sons girlfriend has now just moved in. Like some bizarre tag team event here.
Ok, my turn:
FoL#1 Ellie got a Distinction * for the first year of her Level 3 BTEC in Animal Management. Really chuffed for her because she had a massive wobble when she was doing A levels, and changed college and course halfway through, and it’s turned out to be a brilliant decision by her.
FoL#2 Lauren got two 7s, five 8s, a 9 in her GCSEs and a Distinction * in her Sports Studies BTEC. Which is all A’s and A*s and A**s in old money.
Brains from their mum etc…
FoL1 here has been getting distinction/* for his music BTEC assignments this year and has got a distinction for art too. Bar is set for next year now
FoL V2.0 picked up her GCSE results this morning. All is good (one 9, five 8s and three 7s) to wind up what has been a bit of a stressful week in my household. It’ll be 5 years until FoL V3.0 faces up to GCSEs so we’ll try to recover in the interim.
Times change!
When I did ‘O’ Levels, Grades 1-6 were passes and 7, 8 and 9 were fails.
Soon after I think 1&2 became A
3&4 were B
5&6 were C etc.
