Reel 2 Reel - bottomless pit of faff, expense and hisssssssss

2 track? What speeds, 7 1/2 and 15?

Heads ok ?

What a deck Chris has got (x2 :upside_down_face:). Beautiful styling and hammer tone finish, rare as anything, lovely matching period unit to his other pieces.

This is going to be special :clap::clap:

If my head was ok I wouldn’t do stupid crap like this. Just unloading the car after the 11hr day of picking up bits and dropping bits off :sob:

Both are 7.5 and 15 ips. One seems to be mono and the other stereo.

So there’s the two a62. One appears to be mono and the other the other stereo. Will take a proper look at them this evening.

then there’s a Revox pr99 and a tascam 42. Both I think are 7.5 and 15 ips and 2 track. There both no in Wayne’s garage waiting to be taken to his r2r guy to have a look at them before deciding on keeping them or moving them on to fund getting one of the a62 up and running using the other spares or possibly both if I can find another playback/record module and a set of stereo heads.

As part of Chris’s epic R2R buying adventure today he also very kindly went out of his way to collect my Denon deck too so a big thanks :folded_hands:.

Can’t wait to see that A62 up and running.
