Or just put some casters on the stands you have.
not the idea at all, not about being able to move (they are very light)
Cheers, I watched the you tube vid and understand them now. The cables weren’t obvious too me in the picture. Interesting idea not too far from Weber Rehde’s thinking using the deck chair Reson stands for his speakers.
seen the prototypes, hearing on Wednesday
Flirting between the big Denon and the little Decware, great fun!
Experimenting with cabinet variations (Aperiodic vents, back off and sealed) as well as some basic room treatment, which is working well to improve imaging/soundstage.

One day your penchant for shiny hifi and peter stringfellow thongs is going to backfire on you.
I had to re-glue the transformers in, was tempted to make a metal fixing, but can’t be arsed.
Now I have to wait for the glue to cure before moving it and testing.
If it’s shit, I will re-use the case and put my S&B 103 in there.
Is it Gunmetal?
More likely monkey metal.
No idea, shiny though. Not copper, could be gun metal, it is about 35 years old with transformers from the 1950s apparently.
You could be right i’ve Never heard of Stanley Mic.
USA manufacture.
Chineseium
Could be Stanley Church who was chief sound engineer for MGM and designed a microphone for them (good old google)
They are Stanley Transformers. Is Mic. short for microphones?
I guess so.
No idea, but probably.
