The usual classy wood butchery from Bob there. :+1:

That would look nice under my PT :grinning:

You are welcome to TRY it.

Come on admit it, you just commissioned a posh pedestal to show off the shatki stone.

Let’s be honest. There aren’t many horns that are objectively pretty.

Come on, Dave. Get them bought.

About time you sold me the Blumenhofers

Keep the boxes Dave, just in case.

No way Mark these are staying for a long long time. If I do change it will be an upgrade to the fs-1 model. I have already binned the boxes!

Mr B has a point. It’s like staring into an arse.

This was an elegant way of doing mid bass.

Available for £50 as open box deal from Richer sounds no doubt.

We’re going to do renovations so I’m ignoring the rest of this thread as I can’t afford builders and a divorce in the one year.

After a long session last night with the ModWright in my main system, it appears to fit in rather well with my system and I am very pleased with it. Definitely more music coming out and more ‘realistic’. You need to let it warm up for 20 minutes +, but that is true of a lot of kit.

These arrived a couple of days ago, I got round to unpacking them and trying them in my second system. They are much bigger than the British Loudspeakers BLQ1, still two way.

They set me back £43 and wow, just wow. I have not been blown away by a small speaker since the Ensemble PA-1 Reference and Linaeum LFX Corian some years ago. What a great speaker, definitely a keeper and much better than the smaller BLQ1. Not sure if it’s just the set-up suits them more, but they are very good, a little wooly in the bass and lacking ultimate detail, but as a package, really, really good.

Back from Simon @sjs is my (now) 1.7 pre, he upgraded it with Duelund output caps, clarity and cerafine caps for the power and khozmo stepped attenuator.

Just put a Mullard GZ34 in and it sounds bloody lovely, absolutely no hum/noise coming through the speakers.
