I nearly bought one of these as part of my first hifi. I had a demo of the stage 1 and just loved it but the dealer told me hang fire as the Stage 4 was about to be released. Look what happened to Micromega with them, glad I didn’t hang around for one of them.
Still sort of wished I had bought the Stage 1 though.

I’ve owned various Micromega CDP’s over the years (1, 2, 3 and 6) and, once the grease has been replaced, they haven’t been a problem.
Yesterday evening I only listened to CD’s, which is extremely unusual for me.
The Micromega just sounds so right.
