And much better if you are not circumcised.

Well that went downhill quickly.

Now wondering why a very random discussion of blow job etiquette has been moved into the shaving thread.

Personally it’s not a mental connection I would have made.

I am in need of a new brush my omega puro tasso has seen better days.
Completely out of touch of what is good these days.

The Yaqi synthetics are really very good Dom, and good value for money too:

What’s the best place for blades these days Rob? All the usual suspects on a google search are stupidly expensive (the likes of bladesandwhiskers).

Excellent thanks for that will have a look and order one up.

Are feather still some of the best blades? I have a big stash left but might add some to an order with a new brush

Depends what you mean by stupidly expensive. I get most of mine from Connaught shaving. Always excellent service as well.

I normally buy from members of The Shaving Room forum, guys who suddenly realise that they have accumulated several lifetimes worth of blades, even if they shave 3 times a day…

But this place is pretty good:

https://www.shaving.ie/double-edge-blades/

You can find good deals on eBay, but there a lot of fake blades out there, so you have to be careful.

I was lucky and discovered the type of blades that suited me best (Polsilver and Gillette Silver Blue) fairly early on, so have been able to build up a small stash reasonably cheaply…

I was trying to buy a mixed pack of blades (something like this but without the Lord’s blades which I dislike) but they all seem to be far more expensive even before you take into account P&P. I’ll have a shuftie at Connaught.

I don’t get on with Feathers, but lots of people wouldn’t use anything else. They’re probably the most consistent blade in terms of manufacturing, because P&G who own Gillette and a lot of the other brands keep chopping and changing their factories around. Feather are still made in the same Japanese factory, so if you like them, they’re likely to be as good as they always were.

I can’t believe I know shit like this. Guy, @Gyroscope, this is all your fault…

Plz to PM me your address (again) and I’ll send you 5 Polsilver, 5 Gillette silver blue and 10 Feather.

That’s my last of the former, but if you get on with the Feather I can send you 50 more (I have 200 :man_facepalming:).
