Ain’t this the truth.
I was very very lucky with my 300Bs.
Definitive had just sold out of WE300B or were saying they were having trouble getting them (£500 a pair at the time) and no one was aware that was the last we would ever see of them.
I found someone who had a quad with minimal hours as he had changed his speakers and amp.
He sold them to me for £800.
Ten years later and thousands of hours they still measure as new.
I have been looking at the Definitive list of 300B but doubt I will buy any more WEs
I will use these until they die and probably buy some LV versions after that,
I believe that there was enough for a swimming pool in our little area. I brought six bottles of Shiraz and probably drank half in a 48 spell and Christ knows what else as I spent a lot of time in the bar.
@68rednose brought a distillery and a sweetshop. @maverick didn’t come empty handed either. The Saturday night was the last time I ever got completely pissed…
I popped my head round the door quite late as I had been listening to the system opposite (I think that was yours Olan)
I don’t drink so only stayed for a few minutes and was obviously breathing while there.
I staggered back down the stairs
That day out in Oxford was the last time I ever had more than a pint of beer in a day. I’ve not had a proper beer for two years now. It is one of life’s great ironies that I spent my last afternoon’s drinking with you.
Those steaks and the Pinot Noir were nice though, so it wasn’t all bad.
Aye, the PSE’s are still here. Wifey tolerates them and they go well with my early LV OB’s.
Pennies being spent on new golf clubs at the mo’. Will wait a while before spending on valves.
