They look like the cheap knock-off wannabe-Docs from China you used to get in the market when I was a lad…
The last time I bought a pair of Docs (about 5 years ago) they fell apart within a few months. Not impressed (and this is from a die-hard who lived in Docs for about 15 years).
That’s the sort of boot my Harley riding mate swears by.
As for docs , useless for biking imo. That sole is no good for kickstarts either.
True. I reckon nowadays you’re doing well to get 3 years out of any pair of Docs that see regular service. Having said that, I would rather my shoes fell to bits having cost £150 than to have to shuffle around for decades in the kind of boots only the be-calipered Forest Gump would have approved of.

I kind of agree and not.
They’re mostly intended for motorcycling (one of the two HebTroCo guys is a bike nut).
While not the most stylish of items, I suspect that a significant part of their function is to avoid broken / burnt / etc. ankles.

Try NPS Solovair. They did make DM’s for DM. Now they have their own. They are very nice. Just round the corner from the DM office. Factory shop is good, as they have NPS hand made shoes at nice prices.

The boots are surprisingly light, certainly a lot lighter than the Trickers I have.
They look good, can’t afford them but like.

As I get older I’m starting to appreciate a light shoe rather than some dainite colossus that bends light towards it.
