I’ve got a pair in acorn that a Parisian cobbler worked his magic on.
And a pair in champagne suede!
Do love boots when they’ve got a bit of wear in 'em.

“I have at least 14 cats and ceiling-high piles of old newspapers and unopened post in every room”: The Footwear
True story, I once had to cut a very similar-looking pair of ankle boots off the feet of an old girl admitted to the hospital I worked in. She was in for a leaky femoral aneurysm repair, a booked-case at that, and the boots hadn’t left her feet for an unknown number of years. The nurses on her admitting ward had just gone “Fuck that, they can do that in theatres…”. I got the actual boots off, but it was hard to tell what was people-tar and what was living flesh, so she went off to the mortuary with it intact. She was much too far gone to survive the op, and should never have been admitted - over-keen Registrar…
Can’t believe I used to take shit like that in my stride 40 years ago. Watching vets burst cow boils on telly makes me retch now…
But was she Canadian?
Ahh the Mr Trebus 2000s

some new walking boots, after my Scarpa ones showed signs of the sole lacking grip. I spent alot of time a few months ago trying on Meindl shoes and boots, and they proved a good fit for my feet. Very comfy
