Yes they are. Off for a bit of a shop with my lad in Jan. They have a shop in Manc so will try some on, am hoping the Gibsons will fit. Obviously it is my son who is the shoe whore, not me.

JW come up quite narrow - I have a pair of Gibsons (Spider) - in a moment of madness I convinced myself they fitted…but in reality they are not entirely cosy!

Yea, they are quite pointy, I’m looking at a slightly wider last I think. I’ve dropped them an e mail to ask which is their widest, will let you know what they say.

I am currently negotiating a pair of pointy shoes with the points removed, narrow fitting to suit my wide feet with no backstop on the heel. I don’t wish to pay a deposit and I want them made from a material I have yet to define. The cobbler is currently telling me to fuck off, but I think if I ask him again he will agree to a post delivery pricing option as well.
