A set of Pioneer early 80s top of the range Jap-crap, two 60w class A monoblocks, preamp and an MC head amp.
Sources include a DDDAC in a massive box, a Bergman Sindre turntable with an ART1000 cartridge;
A Technics R2R for tape faff reasons;
And Avantgarde Uno Fino speakers;
Due to our current house extension build my system is currently unplugged.
Hopefully in the next 6 weeks the living room will be both expanded and decorated.
I plan to declutter a bit and explore music streaming, so will need to check out some suitable new hardware. I may even pick up a Naim Mu-So 2 (shock horror) for the rear house extension.
For now my system consists of:
Voyd turntable, Alphason HR100S, AN IO Gold
Coco-san Silver Slagle SUT
iPhono 3 Black Label
CEC TL53Z CD player
Naim ND5XS2 streamer
Chord Qutest DAC
Audio Note Japan M7
New Audio Frontiers 845SE with offboard filament supplies
Living Voice OBX-R2
Yep, no way I’d pair Triangles with most Japanese amps, but that valve pre/power would be perfect…
(Oh the delicious irony!)
Indeed, it is a very good combination. They work well with 201s as well

Only thing i would change is the tweeters i am looking at getting some Raal 50/15.
Much like @PapaLazarou and @Jim my system is not in full use at the moment and will shortly be packed away ready for whenever I move at some point later this year. Currently as below minus the Lumin D1 which has been replaced by a U1 Mini.
Aesthetix Calypso Signature pre
Aesthetix Atlas Signature power amp
Aesthetix Rhea Signature phonostage
Aesthetix Romulus Signature CD/DAC
Gershman Avant Garde speakers
Analogue front end is a Kuzma Stabi Ref TT with a Kuzma 313VTA arm and Shelter 5000 cart running through an EAR MC4 step up.
Also currently boxed up is a TW Accustic Raven One TT with a Raven 10.5 arm as below (stock pic). I have yet to hear the TW arm on the deck yet so really looking forward to that.
Others carts are an AN IO1, Shelter 501 and Shelter 701.
The big change when I move will be the speakers and a pair of Wilson Sophia 3s are ready and waiting. My current room cant handle them. Whether they will take up permanent residence in the new place or not is an unknown. The new listening room is still under construction but I’m hopeful the Wilsons fit the bill.
That looks fabulous Paul. Loving that room
BB is checking lorry-hire availability as we speak/drool…
Has the r2r had its service now?
And a purpose built music room to put it all in!
I absolutely love that room! In fact isn’t it a separate building? I’m not sure but it looks a great place either way.
The hi-fi is basically on stage
They look very cool!
Nope not yet . Struggling to find time to take it.
Yep brilliant amps amongst the best i have heard.Sold a Border patrol s/e for these.
It’s an outbuilding, but attached to the main house. Formerly a byre and at one time a very rough makeshift Chapel (although even then, part of it was still used for keeping livestock in)
Yeah, very jealous.
