Can really tie the room together…
Going waaaay back into internet history, you could take some inspiration for ceiling acoustic treatment in most the same vein as the Albert Hall.

Far too much time on their hands
Ann was just going through some old snaps and found a couple of pics of the system I was running in the mid 90s.
I think this was the start of my batshit balanced phase, Oracle Delhi Mk2, Mark Levinson 39, BAT pre/power and Martin Logan SL3. The power amp was mad - two mono amps in one box, with separate on/off switches
Yes, you would have to be silly to have twice as many parts as needed in a hifi component.
A-ha!
Yep, and Thomas Dolby and Martha and the Muffins
I quite liked SL3’s. Powered with an Audio Research vt130se, and used the variable out of a Wadia 16. Lovely system that. Sold it as I moved back to the Uk.
Aha are dead good. Saw them at the Manchester Apollo in the earlyish 80’s.
I had the BAT VK-40 Pre & VK-60 power amp. I did think about a second VK-60 as they could be bridged for mono use but they took up a lot of space.
This is how my audio journey started.
Very expensive birthday present when I turned 10.
Seems reasonable.
It can’t be much that needed doing if you add it up. Probably a couple valves
Ah well. Try it for a month then send the 861 off
Paper reads “No work needed doing” lol
