I guess not letting people say what they want to say is fine, just as long as we make sure itās only applied to bad people and people who are wrong about things.
(Just to be clear, I personally suspect this woman is wrong about quite a lot of stuff and may also be a bad person.)

There were all sorts of pro-Nazi demonstrations associated with her appearance in Australia which is really what I was alluding to. However, I presume shouting āFuck Off!ā very loudly at someone you donāt agree with qualifies as free speech too. It is a shame if somebody gets drowned out in the ensuing ruckus.

The whole TERF movement is a minefield, as is every aspect of transgenderism (for want of a better term). The extremes of both embrace straightforward insanity (e.g. rabid androphobia vs. the 2,000-genders brigade). I feel it deserves its own thread, but at the same time both groups are so diverse, nuanced and complex that anything a bunch of aging male hifi blokes has to say about it is inevitably a hopeless generalisationā¦ I sure as fuck wouldnāt want to be the one trying to enact legislation to deal with either issue.
